Dollhouse

If you haven’t been living under a rock, then you’ve probably heard of Joss Whedon’s new series, Dollhouse, and it premiered last night on FOX.
The premise of the show is intriguing and the first episode was great. I’m seeing a lot of potential with this show and that’s not surprising with the cast. Whedon is working with Eliza Dushku, who is in the starring lead, and Amy Acker. Plus, supposedly even though I haven’t seen her yet, Summer Glau is going to be making an appearance. All three actresses are really talented.
The show already has me hooked and I can’t wait for next week’s episode. There were so many things that were mentioned that has possible consequences that I can’t wait to see how it all plays out. The investigation into if the Dollhouse actually exists and who is looking for Echo (played by Eliza Dushku) and why? Whedon has dropped enough hints that there are other games going on and I have no idea how they are going to intertwine with each other. Knowing Whedon, it’s going to be fantastic, but we’ll have to see how long FOX keeps him on the air. They thankfully kept Buffy and Angel on the air for 5 seasons apiece, but they pulled the plug way too early on Firefly (IMO), so we’ll have to see what happens. IMDB has 7 episodes listed as being produced, so I’m going to keep my fingers crossed that more will come.
